For as much as I've mentioned Plaguebrand in the past I realised I've never actually... talked about what the eponymous plague is. It's named Bloodthorn, or 'the red death', and it calcifies blood vessels in those affected.

ignore the Ancient art but I just want to check one last time... how do y'all feel about this style of panel to indicate a flashback? the blurry borders and washed out colour... does that work? bc it means I can transit to flashback even within a single panel
