An old story goes that there are "two wolves" fighting inside you. The one that wins is the one you feed.

In Paradigm Shift, the #werewolf has always been an embodiment of fear and anxiety, and ultimately how Kate has to come to face and overcome that.

Just like we all do.

Here's the finished digital composite of the Kali Wolf painting. This is definitely a callback to the image of "Durga Kate" of yore...

The Month of MICE continues this week with my second Clip Studio Paint demo on coloring your comics and illustrations, working with patterns and screen tones, and some fun digital effects to simulate traditional media.

Just completed the final episode of the new She-Ra tonight. What a great series! I had the feels all over the place. Love how the character arcs went. (May have to do some analysis...)

I love this guy's old-school illustration vibe. Some of his work reminds me of the amazing work of Bernie Fuchs. He's got a keen eye for composition and the human figure, and I can tell he's got a background as a painter.

Recently I decided to get a Marvel Unlimited subscription and nostalgia-read a bunch of the old comics I read as a teenager. This lead me to reading the #NewMutants from the very beginning of the series.
