The creation process for me always starts out with a basic outline of what I want to draw. I create my artwork on Photoshop whilst using a Wacom Tablet to draw my images directly onto the screen. I also use different layers to build my images.

I've been learning how to use Illustrator and it's been a been slow journey but I'm finally starting to wrap my head around it all.

A strong root within my artwork is my love for literature in its various forms. I've always had a love for comics and so the combination of illustration and narrative has been a very interesting direction my work has gone in.
Here are my most recent paintings exploring the concept of mapping and moving through landscapes, in terms of both time and space. These two are explorations of my Trinidadian heritage.
