Week 1 of #augustoutfitchallenge is here! And our first prompt: Beach ☀️
For this challenge, I just had to draw my sweet gnome girl, Gin, and even though she's not wearing her giant hat, she got some giant sunglasses to make up for it ahah
Wind down studies with reference, from one of @howardlyonart 's reference pack!
Sketch vs lineart of a character I created based on mushrooms! It was such a fun challenge and I really recommend it if you want to try something new and different
Pick something from your fridge or cupboards, it can even be an object and then create a character based on that 😊
Old vs New
Found some old art and decided to redraw it😊
Art tip: When you don't know what to draw, find some old art and redraw it!
It's fun and you can see how much you've improved since then✨
Sketch vs Lineart, mermay edition!
For this year, I tried to plan all my mermaids in advance. I would just sit down trying out different concepts for each mermaid
It was a really fun process, not worrying about the final version yet, but just enjoying these sketching sessions😊
Unplanned drawing, but still feeling those summer vibes! This was something I did to wind down and very much in my comfort zone.
It's been so warm lately, I don't even wanna move 😅☀️
#tbt to some falling stars ✨
Whenever I'm out of ideas to draw, I like to find or come up with some drawing prompts and do something inspired by them.
It's a really easy way to keep on drawing even when you're out of ideas😊
Haaaands!
Are you sick of these yet? I hope not, because I'm really enjoying sharing these with you😊
A good way to get more confident about drawing something is to draw it a lot, let yourself make mistakes, learn with them and improve with each study💪
