@charlieartsy I've barely futzed with watercolor outside of some digital stuff, I'm just so spooked by it 😅 but it fits the mood extremely well!
Carl is a comfort character of mine though. Bigtime.
This Broadway expression... 🥺
Makes me think of an older Hudson pic I drew... 😳 https://t.co/D3VpPYuD1G
Wow, this got way more attention than I expected, thank you all!
Reminder: Gargoyles #1 is out today, please pick a copy up from your local comic shop if you like the series! Really hoping to see it thrive!
I also draw gargs on the regular (especially Hudson) https://t.co/92HzrG3Z37
@huynhduyd14 Yeah, I think having 3d would be a great asset. What's crazy though is the gap I kinda realized there was between referencing a 3d model or a feature 2d film as reference. Having all the decisions in front of you is eye opening. There's a pretty big difference, at least to me
@huynhduyd14 With Asher, I have had to pull from an extremely small reference pool, since he's only present for like 5 seconds, but pose and other things, I could probably just reference other characters from the game. I use direct reference a lot to practice
