Another great one. The light and sunrays effects were made with screen blending mode, Eren's glowing eyes colour dodge (I think?) blending mode. You see I have less and less criticism cos we approach my present level. But I'm sure I will have more cc when more time passes

Here I love the blood in top panel. It was important to me to not make it look monotonic, but fancy. Colour the lineart of the blood red of course. I experimented with different brushes until I found nice ones for blood. I like to use a splashing sponge brush for splashing blood

Titan interior too red, rest cool. Nice values, I played a lot with distance. I explained how to create distance, but not how to emphasise close elements like WHT in top panel or Jean in bottom: I added a multiply bm layer over those elements, multiply makes darker and expressive

Uncoloured/black lineart and tones on armour vs. coloured lineart and tones on armour. I think the difference is quite clear.

I love this, also one of my favs. One reason this looks good is because I coloured the lineart + tones either by clipping a layer onto it. Yam's titan drawing is quite messy and a coloured Armour looks pretty dark if you leave lineart and tones black. Compare to my 129 example:

March 2020. First attempts for an emote request. I had no idea how to colour under the lineart. So I used colourize tool on my familiar gimp. Don't use gimp for colouring, please! Use actual drawing programs like Krita, CSP, PS, Medibang, IbisPaint etc. I personally prefer Krita.
