im over the moon that i made it in time aaa i really wanted to prove my designing skills and creativity, with this character especially ✨

start of decade (2011) vs end of decade (2019)

kinda concerned i drew this stuff when i was 12 however it is very interesting to see that my aesthetic is pretty much the same and ive gone full circle 👌🏻
also mad props for having the patience to draw in MS paint w/ a mouse 😂

i went to art unis with my portfolio last year and a big criticism was that my drawn characters had very similar silhouettes 🙇‍♀️ tiny waist, long legs etc, easy trap to fall into.
im not where i want to be but seeing my ocs bodies turn more unique lately makes me so happy 👌

I really wanted to display the concept of letting go, or clearing your head, in some metaphorical way. Also still experimenting with a lineart-y style so I can illustrate ideas faster 😇
