cass is the helpful motherly type! i imagine she helps smaller schools of fish cross larger oceans without getting eaten, as she can and will stun predators that come too close ⚡️

#mermay day five is with Aiden! ⭐️
He's sweet and polite if needed but usually just prefers to dwell around quietly in the background.
I think a lot of the other mermaids admire him, but his mellow way of being can make him seem boring in comparison to his flashy appearance.

she absolutely LOVES greenery and that's not any different in this au! she journeys lots of different places to study underwater plants as well as making sure they stay alive.
I really tried to give her that derpy axolotl smile, too 😝

this years first #mermay features Aka!
her slight laziness sticks with her as a mermaid so instead of hunting for food like everyone else she cheats and uses her powers to toast her prey.
she also scavenges metals to look like a princess 👸
