@accommodatingly I mean that was there all along—amazed that this summer’s wedding isn’t them!
@MsEmDash That one’s Miller/Janson! Though lately I’ve been mildly obsessing over the Nocenti/Romita Jr./Williamson period. A few samples:
For @carlzoilus - December 1967 - not a great month, but I do like the ensemble-cast action of Amazing Spider-Man #55.
For @noiseandlight: January 1970 - Our Love Story #3, with excellent fashion choices.
For @inkandpen: November 2009 - Strange Tales #1, with a bunch of art-comics people tackling familiar characters...
For @ColeMooreOdell: May 1971. Savage Tales #1, mostly for the sake of Lee and Romita's "Femizons" story. Okay, for the sake of this panel.
For @StephenFrug: March 1971. My Love #10, one of the more remarkable examples of romance comics attempting to figure out early-'70s feminism...
For @kthorjensen: August 1976, Defenders #38. Because ELF WITH A GUN. Also, prison fight. Also, evil clowns. Steve Gerber, everyone.
For @bowiesongs: January 1980, Master of Kung Fu #84. Doug Moench tying a Robert Anton Wilson-inspired conspiracy knot; Mike Zeck and Gene Day having a whole lot of fun with textures.
@rickeypurdin And here are a few that sell every time I put a copy in there:
