Steph, Barbara & Damian having Lantern Rings also plays into another want of BQ Miller’s as Blue Lantern Steph is a concept that he would try to write again a few years later (But Didio would get in the way)

Blackest Night happens during Steph’s time as Batgirl yet we do not see her in the event & while we see characters like Dick, Damian, Tim & Barbara fighting Black Lanterns & dealing with the event Steph only gets to reference the event when talking with Bruce.

I’ve been thinking about Steph’s Black Mercy visions & though I know that these are all concepts from scrapped story ideas that BQ Miller never got the chance to write because of the N52 I’ve also been thinking why in universe Steph would have had these visions.

@tintedteale The reason I suggested Nightwing Steph in Gotham's future is because Steph HAS been Nightwing in comics, an adult version of her appeared as Nightwing at the end of her Batgirl series & she was also supposed to appear as Nightwing in the Smallville comic
