Terry Team

Terry: The Legendary Wolf and previous champion. A hero who never ignores someone in need and is always a friend to kids. His foster brother Andy gets onto him for being generous and trusting to a fault. While bright and upbeat, he has a dark past that haunts him.

Benimaru: Heir of the Nikaido family. Obsessed with beauty and fixated on himself. Kyo was the first guy to ever take him down a peg, and they've been friends and rivals ever since. He loves women and constantly hits on them. A freewheeling fighter who models on the side.

Kyo Team

Kyo: Successor of the fire-wielding Kusanagi style. A charismatic guy who defeated his father Saishu and succeeded him at age 15, but he wants no part of that. He can be cocky and snarky, but his caring side wins him a lot of friends. Loves grilled fish.

You meet the KOF competitors while working a job at a training facility. You were living a decidedly KOF-free life until the mystery host of the event sends you an invitation out of nowhere.

The most important inclusion in the cast is of course highly eligible bachelor and mob enforcer Billy Kane.

When you start the game, an unskippable opening plays. Iori's venting his issues on Kyo as usual while Kyo tries vainly to reason with him. Three new faces watch with popcorn, and another lady watches the new faces in the mirror.
