Cass doesn't want to be a normal girl, she wants to be Batman.
Supergirl by @TomKingTK @BilquisEvely @_matlopes_ and Clayton Cowles is like... this combination of A Princess of Mars, True Grit, a tiny bit of Hitchhiker's Guide, thrown together into this book I didn't know I needed but was exactly what I wanted right now. Thank you, guys.
Today’s Urban Legends reminded me…
So I got permission from my old friend @iancsamson (kinda kinky art account) to share this old drawing of Cass and Steph from way back when Wii Smash Bros was a thing. (I am one hundred percent sure Cass is terrible at fighting games)
With #batgirl trending I am obligated to post something... Have some old art from the before times.
In this thread, some comments on how to draw Cass's full mask. It's something I see trip up a lot of artists, especially ones that want to maintain her "cute-ness" underneath the frankly scary all black cowl. Others want to be intimidating, but lose the character behind the mask.
Cass should probably use her gadgets and junk more often cause getting pigeonholed as the "martial artist" is often taken as a limit rather than a boon by the comics. Her assassin and bat training never show their potential, beyond "fight good" and that's on the comics to do that
@AlexJaffe @dailycasscain @DoctorDC Sigh, the closest example I can think of right off the top of the bat (heh, pun) is her using smoke bombs in DetCom.
