Pit and dark pit in a nutshell

Pit from Kid Icarus is based off of Icarus. Icarus father created wings out of wax to help them escape from the pit they were stuck in. But when they escape Icarus flew too close to the sun and his wings melted causing him to fall into the ocean and die.
