Okay that's a lie, there's really only one other person that I think could do the job who aren't Kenny James (Bowser's current VA) or Scott Burns (Bowser's VA during the 2000s). Keith Ferguson, mainly because of his roles as Lord Hater and Flintheart Glomgold.

@bobjinx I feel like the Super Nintendo World wristbands amiibo made it clear which Mario characters parallel which specific characters in the Sensational Six. There's also the pretty obvious Bowser and Pete connection.

So in conclusion (of tl;dr), not only do I believe Pokemon Masters is canon, but I also think it can be put alongside the mainline Pokemon games, especially when you consider that the game exists because Ken Sugimori wanted a game where all of the Trainers come together.

Maybe one day I'll make an in-depth observations thread analyzing the complicated Nintendo-Disney relationship that occasionally gets brought up and one concerning Disney's very weird ongoing off-and-on treatment with Elena of Avalor versus the rest of the Disney Princesses.
