After the film rights reverted to us, we did not have to knock on doors to pitch DUNE as a movie. The word got out around Hollywood that we had the rights, + we were contacted by many major studios wanting to make a new movie. We decided to go with Legendary . . . a good decision
We have the first draft of the DUNE screenplay from Eric Roth. I am working on it day and night, consulting closely with Kevin. We expect to send our comments to Legendary by this weekend. Lots of good stuff in the script, and things to be tweaked. I'm happy to be involved.
