I don't have a good explanation for my inspirations I just enjoy larger than life characters and comedy as well as a sense of wonder and mystery.

@omelettecounty Been thinking about this a lot recently since I feel like ive been in a creative rut. But theres a lot that inspires heres some I come back to often in no particular order.

1. American Comics especially Superhero.
2. Hiroyuki Imaishi projects
3. Monster Movies
4. 2000s Hip-Hop

Guys i think I've mastered animation.

4.) Last but far from least is comic book writer and artist Amanda Conner. She has done work for Archie Comics, DC, and Marvel among many other publishers. Her run on DC's Power Girl is a personal favorite of mine and her Harley Quinn comics are pretty good as well.

3.) Video Games are pretty dope and with a pretty dope game you need pretty dope art. Concept Artist and Illustrator Kinu Nishimura has you covered. Notable for her work with Video Game company Capcom she has since gone freelance and worked for other companies on many projects.

2.) Rebecca Sugar is probably one of the biggest names in animation now because she made Steven Universe which is a phenomenal show. But she also worked on Adventure Time as a storyboard artist and songwriter and also wrote a comic call Pug Davis. So pretty cool all around.

1.) Naoko Takeuchi is pretty cool ya know she didn't do anything special she just kinda made SAILOR MOON. Little 4 year old me was all about Sailor Moon just like 21 year old me is all about Sailor Moon. Fighting evil and striking poses Sailor Moon is pretty darn good.
