There is a certain amount of satisfaction to draw this by hand. As much as I hate Illustrator, I do love doing vector art in Amadine. It gets you in the wonderful state of flow that's akin mediation.

I love how these can get to several different levels of abstraction. I now need to spend a few day to figure out how to make physical pieces that approximate these shapes and colors yet still retain original value. I have a 3-axis CNC machine in my garage that can carve 4'x4' 🤔

Sunday is for family time: oil painting practice with a loved one. Here is an AI piece I posted earlier, my reinterpretation as an abstract painting, and a pencil sketch. It's early days for me and I see this as a meditation along with some Lorn music in the background.

I've been listening to an IDM artist with spoken word that just hits me like an anvil in the head. So freaking powerful... everything.. I need to paint that and it just tears me apart. At these moments I wish I had synesthesia.
