My spirituality is alien! The etymology of the word “Alien” is “stranger” or “foreign”, something from outside Earth. It is also synonymous with “Indigenous” which is “native” or “original”. So no human concept, gender, makes sense for alien, because it's just not of this world!!
Unmã comes frm a vision I had in the spiritual temple, called terreiro. In this place I see entities that are non-binary, creatures that escape the binary dichotomy and a conventional human aesthetic. My spiritual experience is closely linked to identity and artistic construction
All these elements are part of my subjectivity, it doesn't mean that anyone will identify it all in the story, so I consider it a totally subjective and personal process
Unmã is an initiatory journey, a spiritual experience, a magical world, filled with symbols that are very relevant to me, such as the four elements, water, fire, air and earth, the presence of duality and portals that refer to my body
To build my character, I literally incorporated myself right into my body. It is a "retro-creation" process relationship. What I create on paper goes to my body, and what I create in my body also appears in my drawings! An queer avatar!!!!
Initially my topic was about comics, but I realized that it could be something broader. Today I consider transdisciplinary! Even though my main product is a webcomic, the process background is definitely transdisciplinary 🌸A universe built in watercolor! ✨

This painting style is full of blur and noise effect! The water element is present in every frame! Its symbology is of purification of feelings through crystal waters!
