Heres an example of how I did it with my newest piece!!

color + difference + shading + add layer

Now I take it to picsart and go editing with layers, I tend to fuck around with them and it justs makes the art look slightly better

Its preferred (for me) that the add layer goes slightly into the shading, so when I go in with a blur tool, it looks more glowy. I ONLY BLUR THE ADD LAYER AND NOT THE SHADING.

Then I do a clipping difference layer 25% with cyan. This isnt really important to the shading but it usually makes the colors look better, but thats personally lmao
