@NebulaPhotos Basically, I just pulled up my pants and strapped on my big boy shoes and paid for APP, after 3 mins I had a perfect seamless mosaic. A ridiculous amount of effort for no result in Pix, silly really. Always just pay the money in Astro, always the answer!

HELP! Does anyone know a good way to get images to mosaic properly in #Pixinsight using the Gradient Merge Mosaic tool? I cannot get a smooth result without 'pinched' stars no matter what I do!!

All taken with a DSLR camera and a small telescope in my garden. 😎

Vast curtains and pillars of ionized gas emit light in the Carina Nebula. Dark structures can be seen which are blocking the light being emitted. Colours indicate the type of elements present in the gas and dust.
