I've realized that I've gotten a lot more tense with my art lately. My sketches are over-worked and my illustrations are under-worked because I second guess myself. I'm going to try and break out of that cycle this year.

tonight's cooldown. i like how i keep saying i'm setting this story aside for a bit, and then inevitably start drawing it again lol.

Let's talk about how I draw hands! I picked up the flat, squared fingertips from the Transformers: Animated art style, and I picked up more pronounced knuckles from watching Harry Partridge and trying to figure out how he made hands look so dang effortless!
