really it’s just yuuta’s self consciousness and that doubt overriding all rational thought. because for yuuta it’s always easier to blame herself than others. for yuuta, who has always been told it’s her fault in the first place, and who has only had that negative viewpoint —
because crowley is ancient right. and he probably would have only like. old fashioned clothes which is why yuuta wears these outfits at the end of the frau holle segment. just to show theyre connected now (im very happy with yuuta's outfits except the one on the third page)
ALSO I HAD. NO FUCKING CLUE HOW TO DRAW CROWLEYS OUTFIT... I WANTED HIM TO LOOK OLD?
like i wanted his style of dress to look VERY dated compared to yuuta and i dont. i dont remember what i referenced for it. crowley gave me a headache.
im pretty sure i drew almost the entirety of the first page with the symmetrical guide tool ... and for objects like like the oven, any arches, and the /mirror/ all use it really heavily to make it look as perfect as i can possibly make it
this is so incredibly disorganized already but as an aside i want to say this is one of my favorite pages from the first parts it because of how i made the page look. very very proud of myself for the text too aadsfdshg
ok for this and the first few pages as a whole: i wanted to point out how while the world of the living uses much brighter colors, it is still very muted in comparison to the world yuuta finds herself in when she jumps into the well.
