Finally finished Silverstring ep.7 yesterday night~

I went thru so many adversities when trying to draw this ep but once it's done (albeit taking 1 month lmao) I felt relieved!

I did some experiments with colors and lighting and it was extremely fun!

I still have much to learn and I enjoy the process of discovering new things SO even tho I'm shy about the quality, I'm proud of myself for actually drawing something.

If I didn't have predetermined background I just did whatever I want with the panel.

Usually I do the standard sketch > lineart > flat > render > decorate.

In the 1st example I colored my sketch cz it was the 1st & last time I drew those clothes and I didn't have any reference.

After that I do the standard lineart + flat color step.

I usually draw the stuff hidden by foreground layers in case I wanna change the composition later but you can skip this step to save more time!

If I decorate the characters with assets, I put them above the lineart layer.

The wholesomeness of Chongyun and Shenhe relationship...auntie and nephew...
