I was working on this over the weekend, it's still in its base stage as I have been moving house.
I thought some kind of editor was warranted, (Though its only made for MY ease and PROBABLY won't be included in the final stuff) 🤪

Conversing with one character was pretty neat.
But tonight I did this and I love it. 🥰

I have never felt as weird as I do when I am writing conversations between NPC's.
It kinda just feels like I am talking to myself!

Things are almost back to where they were before I started writing my animation system.
Looks a little bitter IMO, with the slight delays on frames in animations.
Nearly back to adding new features and HOO BOY, I can't wait!!

While working on the animation system, I added a global animation speed variable.

Now everyone is heckin' energetic.
These fella's need to lay off the cappuccinos.

About heckin' time!
Realized I was already calculating the frame of the animation for my weapon tracks, stored the current track name and current frame, hooked it into a animstate update and Ta-da!
Dealing damage on the correct frame
