I shared her a while ago but I really like this little mushroom.

Across the beach and swaying reeds they dance upon the heather.
They laugh and sing their way along, small hands held tight together,
Their hopeful whispers float up high and set the world alight.
‘We are the best of friends,’ they say into the starry night.

Amongst the wild flowers and tiny toadstools a little girl was playing.

You’ll be bored of seeing this image! I had a friend look and she said the expressions were too ‘samey’ so I’ve tweaked and…much better.

Late night colouring when I really should be tucked up in bed with a good book.

My Instagram just reached over 6k! Not bad for someone who initially felt silly putting myself forward as an illustrator.

@Bethan_Kate I think We’re Going on A Bear Hunt by @MichaelRosenYes is timeless. The lovely noises are perfect for a 1 year old - swishy swashy - as is the excitement of the bear! It’s a book that would grow with the child and still to this day I pass kids quoting it.
