imagine being jamie in the early 2000’s & spending hours/days on a single drawing, only for it to be released in the grainiest and lowest quality possible (or possibly even incomplete) & then have it never see the light of day again

the alternate colored p1 murdoc actually has a really similar shade of green to the alternate version of the murdoc used in the bands p1 introduction booklet. both are really early p1 art, i wonder if jamie was experimenting w colors and almost went with this color instead of tan

something that i like about song machine is the parallel between désolé and TLC. while i prefer the band having conflict and murdoc being a piece of shit, i liked the progression of him being purposely excluded from things to what happened between him & 2D at the end of TLC
