It's early in the evening and you're home alone, when a tap, tap, tapping draws you to your kitchen. You look in, but see no one. It's stopped now. Had someone been in your yard? I hoped you locked your doors and windows.

You're up late. Did something wake you up? You look out your bedroom window to see that all of your neighbours' lights are out. Have they all gone to bed? You should too. You should be asleep for when it comes.

There's a certain kind of stillness in the country, no cars, people, or life around you. There's just you and the occasional rustle in the bushes. But you shouldn't worry about that. You should just turn around and walk back to the safety of your house.

A Big Buff Bird is here. I haven't had any eagle neighours others than Avery, and he was only in my town for a week. But he's got a pretty neat design 💫
