Trying out a winged race character concept.

Finally after having worked on her hair, face, makeup, headpiece, glowy eyes, and lighting adjustments, I was done! :D Still got a lot to learn but am glad I get to happily share this process with you!

By this time I was close to the finish line, rendering both background and foreground, but mainly on Liliana, I don't want the background to overpower her, as well as making small adjustments on lighting and edges.

At this point I decided to make her the focus, since the control is on her. I looked for more lighting and expression references to really get the mood of the piece.

After rendering more the background, I had focused on Liliana and while I was rendering her, I was not really happy with the outcome. She felt stiff, expression was mean, and it did not feel right for what I wanted to convey.
