@Phantomzeo720 The smartphone comp is a lazy cop out, SMTI had a cool ass comp design that was just supposed to be technology any normal person could buy in the 90s

It especially sucks since even SMT has dropped the ball recently with boring ass smartphone comps and a Demonica arm that looks more like something out of Yu Gi Oh GX than SMT

The one actual overall piece of SH2 criticism I’ll say today is that I still think they really dropped the ball with the comps, making them into magical weaponry both makes them a lot more generic, and de-emphasizes the importance of the demon summoning program

@SMTDrifter You can have a non-serious game without dialogue that makes me wanna groan

as I said, SH1 has some pretty goofy parts, especially with the dolphin, but it more felt just like fun cheesiness rather than this style of writing that they did with strikers/apocalypse
