Obviously because Ryza doesn't have character endings and her story is pretty fixed, this hasn't been the case for her games (or Sophie). What I always liked about these games though is that they usually had fanservice for the girls and boys w/ the endings.

Atelier games have always had a tiny bit of a "otome" element to them because you could get various endings with characters -- so with it always having a female main character, the endings with males *sometimes* has implied romance (esp escha and logy)

Since some people missed what it said in the article, there was an Atelier otome game from otomate many years ago for PSP. So it's not completely random and it's not because of Ryza. I actually played it but never finished it. I honestly thought it was pretty cute and fun. https://t.co/e5pKQR9UEQ
