I really found that diversity of gender and body was the thing I was missing to in my art. Bc at that time, always drawing standard-pretty could felt boring for me quickly. The things that, I believe, made my art win spirit was to make space for other into my colorful universe.
The other jevitas is what I call my sister for another mom. She once told me "you don't draw people like me, curvy"and I felt so ashamed. Bc why I will not include my best friend in my art? So, she became one of the reasons why I started drawing more body shapes
At some point I said "how about I draw something real?" and I felt a spark inside me. My artwork suddenly felt real and magical at the same time. And those little details make those around me feel that they belong to this world too.
That's why I think that I use to draw perfect characters. They where really simple but perfect af. I see them now and I say pretty and a bit boring haha
