THANK U SM FOR TAKING ME IN AS A FLOATER FOR MY FIRST DRS CLEAR!!!
managed to do a warmup and make some progress on comms today \o/
part 1 of a design comm/blank ref sheet for @mepedrop that took an embarrassingly long time
Now that I posted the Director's sheet I can post all of these things I've been sitting on for uh. months
🛍️I paint with gouache and watercolors and refine/line with colored pencils. I sell original paintings sometimes! I also make zines and minizines and am in school for these things.

To me, taking regular mental health breaks is important for artists and it seems like that no matter what, if you are inactive for a while, it's VERY hard to get any traction back. Interaction isn't everything but it's certainly a factor when it comes to motivation.
#FixTheAlgorithm I've been at the same general amount of followers despite posting original content for multiple years, and I've noticed that if you come back after a break your interaction is pretty much shot. I try not to let it bother me but it's a bit discouraging
