For the lighting, I used a layer of color, set to “OVERLAY”, reduced opacity.

I get all my refs from Pinterest, and most of them are from fashion websites (I’m bad at making up my own clothes lol). The only things I didn’t use references for are the clouds, hat, cloak, and bag.

Style evolution + improvement: now vs 5 months ago. I think I have finally struck a good balance between cartoon + realism. Also im just getting a lot better at anatomy + color.
