I need to pay more attention to hair volume next time and I definitely need to work on my face proportions.

I did some more practice sketches today.

I'm a pretty slow artist so this time I tried working on my speed, it took me around 2 and a half hours to do both of these.

With some more practice I think I can cut that time down to 2 hours.

The first one in January is my first-ever digital artwork and it looks awful, but it holds a special place in my heart.

It's been a while since I've done a legit background, so I've gotten much worse at doing them.

Next time I think I'll try to draw the background first and then I'll add a character on top.

So far I've learned that I need to place the jawline a little lower and I need to pay more attention to the shape of the eyes.
