I'm gonna try to do a render for this one instead of my usual cel shading

I did this with a tutorial.

I'm very happy that my painting skills have improved to the point where I can do something like this now.

I did a quick drawing of Ren to get some background practice.

Next time I need to make my shadows a lot darker I think. I also need to pay more attention to the nose and mouth.

I did another painting today.

Next time I'll try to define my shadow areas better before I get into rendering, I think that'll make my characters look more believable.
