@solsticinesins I have tried adoptables, but they did not seem to fly very well! But to be fair, these were premade or theme-based and were not as monstrous as my usual designs. The last one I made looked like this:
I'm sure people would prefer grosser adopts (my problem is that I get attached)!

Art Slam starts up in two days and I'm pretty excited about it (you draw every day for 1- 3 months for a self-assigned project)! Looking to expand IO's menagerie since I haven't done much with it this year. Thinking to start with deconstructing very old designs like "True Queen".

@RtRadke - with various NPCs and common enemies, re: how can I justify these creatures under the parameters already set, especially when they are as fantastical as they are? Some NPCs went a little literal, others went in... very different directions. (old stuff:)

It's a beautiful book, I was lucky to have been gifted a copy years ago. It's one of those books that takes you to a different place

- skeleton, Silvally is light in body but sturdy. Organs are compact and highly efficient, eats lightly. Strikes hard but is easily bullied physically.
7'07" at the withers is probably under 300 lbs assuming sci-fi construction materials could reduce weight to that degree.

@cottonwood_box I bet you're right (it's still almost the size of a horse, that's... about 1,200 lbs or so?). The height stat standard for quadrupedal Pokemon seems to shift from 'mon to 'mon, some look to be measured to the withers, some to the head, some to a crest
