Post order 66, the galaxy is in turmoil. The empire has taken control, letting few slip through their fingers. While Ni'Sa and Kao managed to survive, inquisitors are never out of the picture.

Ni'Sadora the twi'lek and Kao Shani the zabrak were both raised to be jedi from a young age. As they're the same age, they grew up and trained together. Inseperable from the very start. As padawans, Ni'Sa would be taken by Aayla Secura, Kao taken by Eeth Koth.
