i've been thinking a lot re: simplification of weapon design to strongest base forms and man, just. look at how good tf2 does it. you can look at a weapon and immediately get a read on how strong it is, how it works- and it still stays stylized.

i really enjoy how headcrabs use their frontal pedipalps as legs in this game. feels good feels organic and OH NO IF YOU SHOOT NEAR THE SCARED HEADCRAB IN THE CAGE IT HIDES ITS HEAD... NO!!! BABY!!!
