Another moment of appreciation for how it requires a tranquilizer to take Bella down. Everyone else was just arrested at gunpoint, but the Golden Viper doesn’t go down so easily

But her expression in the reflection of her blade looks sad and pensive, and it reminds us how the last time we saw Bella was truly heartbreaking, as she sobbed over the “death” of Neyra.

The episode opens with the APD making raids on Phantom Scythe operatives. It looks like the evidence Sandman turned in at the end of the last episode has had some great returns!

But the mood shifts back to somber as we see Sandman approaching the APD headquarters, preparing to turn in the evidence he’s gathered. The prominent flag of the Aevasther royal crest feels ominous, and we can’t wait to see how this all plays out!

Lauren’s clearly taken a page from Kieran’s book with this teasing comment to put a smile on his face and break the tension, Kieran jokes back, and it just goes to show how perfect they are together.

Thankfully, Lauren “no sulky bf on my watch” Sinclair doesn’t let him pull away and she puts her hand over his. And once again, she reaffirms the choices he’s made, which means so much when Kieran has so often not been able to choose. AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT KIERAN TEARING UP?
