Legit loved this game. If you're cool enough to love classic Ys, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star then you're cool enough to enjoy Phantasie. I've tried to get into 80's CRPGs several times and this was the first one I completely clicked with.

I redid the dungeon and this time I went to fight the Black Lord after (and he's HARD, I wonder if he's easier if you choose to destroy the wand instead of steal it) and got an extra end-screen and a spell

This bit's funny because Phantasie II sadly never got ported to DOS :(
