One thing that's difficult to appreciate when the game is in motion is that Morrigan's ES Shadow Blade is not a typical afterimage trail; She's actually summoning doubles (like in Darkness Illusion) from the ground that rise up along with her. #Darkstalkers

@Flynn_Jeux These are the corresponding normals in Night Warriors to ones that use the claw in Vampire Savior. His normals were almost entirely revamped between the two games, so most others feature different weapons between games as well.

Amusingly, Huitzil's official Darkstalkers Resurrection illustration depicts him with a weapon he can't actually use in said release. This claw gauntlet is exclusive to his Savior incarnation which is absent from Resurrection.

In Darkstalkers 1, Huitzil doesn't have a dedicated OTG hit sprite. Instead he recycles a frame of his trip animation. He would get a proper OTG hit sprite in Night Warriors.

March 2020 marks the 25th anniversary of Vampire Hunter/Night Warriors! The second installment of the Darkstalkers series revamped and refined the innovative and experimental foundation of the previous game into a solid title that had a thriving competitive scene in its day.

Like many things about him, Huitzil's alternate colors changed from game to game in the Darkstalkers series. In total he had 18 unique color schemes across the series.
