Here is a comic showcasing Astrid's initiation as a full member. She'd be very mad if someone called their community a cult. Very mad indeed. So I'm not going to, here, and I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

As it turns out Astrid is actually a werewolf hunter. Not born to the trade like many of her colleagues, but instead she was saved and raised by a group of hunters after the loss of her parents at age 10.

What she doesn't expect is to meet ASTRID. Astrid appears to be a semi-lost tourist stranded by a popped tire. When they meet at a bar Syd doesn't even consider what more could be hidden away...

This is SYDNEY, or SYD, a college dropout with a heart of gold. She's spent a lot of time picking up broken people, helping them find their ways again, and she can't help but wonder when she will get a chance to rest and, while she doesn't say this out loud, fall in love....

When Hermes gets a call that his mother is sick he and Syd decide to roadtrip back to his hometown. When they stop at the servo for gas he meets Kuu again, rekindling their friendship despite the strange circumstance. (commissioned art here by @beigriff who you should follow!)
