Pantosaurus was a cryptoclidid from the Sundance Sea, adjacent to the famous Morrison formation. It’s notable for one containing preserved stomach contents of an ichthyosaur embryo. #MorrisonWeek
@SpinoDragon145 We have some fossils preserving soft tissue (including a polyctylid) showing plesiosaurs actually had pretty slim necks and that most of the fat was around the tail and front flippers
