I’ve posted the sketch before, but I decided to turn it digital! All the colors are manually picked this time, instead of eyedropping from refs. This actually frustrated me - my colors seemed too pastel for a fight scene, as shown - so I went all in with effects to fix it...

Of course it's justified in that there AREN'T any primary female characters so they don't get that distinct of designs

@_kairy_draws_ Mario is definitely the biggest example of this, and by extension things like WarioWare and DK as well (mostly in the case of Candy Kong)

Outside of that, it's a bit harder to see... but may I argue Kirby? Many of the primary female characters are comparatively more humanoid
