the scenes are visually flat, and i want to know why kore is always taking a shower

i have no issue with people enjoying the webcomic because people can like whatever they like but why was this nominated for an eisner it seems entirely based on numbers

(content warning) the whole rape scene was entirely out of nowhere and clearly only added to try and give persephone a motive and fear and emphasize how hades is a good dude in comparison to the rest of the men who are just blatant manipulators without any depth

speaking of space - almost all the time the characters are portrayed as bust-up, and the backgrounds are just blotchy and empty, making it impossible to tell where they are - when they’re drawn in, they’re 3d modeled

the characters are so very generalized, clearly kore is the clumsy self insert for middle school girls to insert themselves in and hades is mr darcy who’s rich and has a soft spot for main character

one of these days they’re gonna get their eyes stabbed out by someone’s nose - everyone’s always so close to each other’s faces omg
