I haven’t done modern content fan art in so long I’m having too much fun

The Forgotten City has been my absolute favourite game this year (Ancient setting, plot, characters!!), so of course fan art was imminent 🥬🧑‍🌾 Galerius if you're reading this I am NEVER too busy to chat

'The Sigillaria' on 19 December was a day of gift-giving during #Saturnalia. The tokens exchanged were called sigillaria (pl) and were often terracotta or wax figures 🧸🐔🐖

Some details ✨ I do not know if/how the inhabitants of #HadriansWall decorated for #Saturnalia, but normally Romans put up greenery and wreaths in their homes. In Roman England they would have had yew and possibly some wayward Scots pine in December🌲🌨️

I’m honestly obsessed with December’s illustration I wish I could share the full thing on here 😩 drawing Romans in the snow has been a new experience and so much fun!!🌨️🌲🔥
