Then, I went and redesigned Ballad, after I did their little simplified redesign. This is the point in the year when I started getting better feedback from communities I was in, and my confidence grew exponentially, and I'm so grateful for it.

This piece for @/CookedGroose makes me happy because of my hair rendering and... another part you can't see here. (This thread is just me posting my paintings.... isn't it?)

These were a couple more experiments with this scratchy rendering style. I still like both of them very much and hope to do more of this look in the future!
