@BoneJail I would say the comic is misrepresenting Bill Gates a bit so I wrote a different version :) hope you like it!
First image is a cartoon, posted below with added description.
Second image is a screenshot of the article "Ease of Mind or Ties That Bind? Costs and Benefits of Disclosing Daily Hassles in Partnerships". It tested whether sharing complaints is about emotional closeness.
@jake_gotta @pokemon_otis I would like inform this tweet's replies that Ward Sutton can in fact draw bikes

@BigApeAllCity @Q_Review I had to draw it to make sure I wasn't losing it, but no its wrong. I drew this on my phone with my thumb so please excuse that it looks like total ass
Since nudity is out, and I also don't want to draw a naked child in any detail, I leaned into the heretical aspect. Puritans hated popery, more even than they hated witches. So, draw her in papal regalia!
A pale little girl with powerful magic and papal robes.
Wait a second.

I drew over the original and tried to take many cues from the original design. It's almost unsettling, because it gives a very disturbing implication to Abby's power. It brings to mind Puritanical AND modern fears of child sexualisation.
I heard the soundtrack for Salem FGO last night and got to hype I hyperfixated and spent a few hours sketching out this redraw/drawover of Abigail with an alt design 😔
CW for the whole thread: sexualisation of children, witch trials, spoilers for Salem from F/GO.
@Iron_Spike I can appreciate it as part of the culture. It's funny that the two artists that come to mind seeing these paintings are 1) Destiny Blue and 2) Junji Ito
"They're just lazy and unskilled"
Piet Mondrian, the squares guy, was a skilled artist. This painting of Winterswijk is like the earliest painting on the Mondrian website. He wasn't drawing squares because he couldn't do landscapes.
Also...he didn't use a ruler. That's BY HAND.
