Examples of leading the eye with composition. The eye starts at the top and the shapes and negative space have your eye go down through the image and give you info as you go.
(fyi -the direction one reads text tends to guide the direction we read images)

So this painting jumps out the most for me as "bad" so I'm going to focus on this one. And there's many things wrong with this simple image so lets get going.
