ROYAL RAINBOW

So there was a 1994 Star Trek: The Next Generation game for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive, and it opens with a remake of the opening.
I love it. the beepy FM synth, the 16-bit graphics. it's awesome.

and then "I'm gonna cure you of the disease called life"

Then Weeniemeister showed up.

definitely seems normal

I extracted it.

WHY WOULD YOU DESIGN A CHARACTER SET LIKE THIS?

FUN FACT:
DeSmuME (left) mis-renders the portraits in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2.
See how there's a black line on the bottom, and no dark blue on the top?

It's putting the portrait at the wrong location, 1 pixel too high.

I regret nothing and everything.

boy, Klik & Play was really ahead of the times for 1994

I found where in the rom the faces are stored
this... doesn't really help
